TEKConnectGov Privacy Policy

Protecting the privacy of your personal information is very important to TEKConnectGov, LLC (“TEKConnectGov”, “we”, “us” or “our”). This privacy policy (this “Privacy Policy”) is intended to advise you (“User” or “you”) of the policies and practices applicable to our website, products and services (collectively, “Services”) as they pertain to the collection and maintenance of certain information about you. This Privacy Policy governs only the personal information collected via our Services and how it is used and disclosed and does not govern the collection of information through other means (for example, via telephone or through the mail).

1. YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By using or providing information through our Services, you consent to the policies and practices of TEKConnectGov concerning the collection, use and disclosure of personal information set forth in this Privacy Policy, and authorize and license us to collect, use and disclose your personal information in accordance with such policies and practices. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use the Services.

2. CHOICE/OPT-OUT

You may choose to withdraw your consent regarding further contact or further collection, use, or disclosure of your information, at any time, by contacting us at support@tekconnectgov.com. If you choose to withdraw consent, we will then use reasonable efforts to remove your personal identification information from our files, unless we are entitled to retain it pursuant to an agreement that you have entered into with us.

3. TYPES OF PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED ABOUT YOU

In connection with accessing our Services, we may collect information from you which can be used to identify you (“Personal Information”), such as your name, mailing address, email address, phone number, username and password.

We collect information when you register an account, sign in, access and use our software, call us for support, or give us feedback.

We may also automatically collect certain usage information when you access our Services (“Usage Data”), such as Internet Protocol (“IP”) addresses, log files, unique device identifiers, pages viewed, browser type, any links you click on to leave or interact with our Services, and other usage information collected from cookies and other tracking technologies. For example, we collect IP addresses to track and aggregate non-personal information, such as using IP addresses to monitor the regions from which users navigate to our Services. We also collect IP addresses from users when they log into our Services as part of our log-in and security features.

4. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Unless prohibited by law, regulation, or a contractual obligation, we may use your information, including your Personal Information, for the following purposes:

Account Registration. We may use your name, address, phone number, and email address to create your account for certain services we provide.

Communicate with You and Tell You About Other Services. We may use your information to communicate with you about our Services.

To Improve Services and Develop New Services. We will use your information to personalize or customize your experience and the Services, develop new features or services, and to improve the overall quality of our Services.

To Provide Our Services and Operate Our Business. We may use your information to operate our business, including providing Services you requested, provide you with support related to our Services, and to help us protect our Services, including to combat fraud and protect your information.

Customer Service and Technical Support. We may use your name, address, phone number, email address, how you interact with our Services, and information about your computer configuration to resolve questions you may have about our Services and to follow up with you about your experience. A transcript of such conversations may be retained to resolve questions or issues related to our Services or for other internal business purposes.

Feedback. We may use any information you volunteer in surveys you answer for us and combine them with answers from other customers in order to better understand our Services and how we may improve them. Answering any survey is optional.

Protection of TEKConnectGov and Others. We may share account information, Personal Information and Usage Data when we believe it is appropriate to protect our rights, property, or safety, our Services, our Users, or others. This does not include selling, renting, sharing, or otherwise disclosing Personal Information of our customers for commercial purposes in violation of the commitments set forth in this Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing Between Divisions. We share your information, including your Personal Information, with and among the operating divisions, affiliates and subsidiaries of TEKConnectGov, except were prohibited by law, regulation, or a contractual obligation. The protections provided in this Privacy Statement apply across all TEKConnectGov entities. Affiliates and subsidiaries means companies related by common ownership or control. We may share your information for our everyday business purposes, including, without limitation, to maintain your accounts and to operate our business. We will also share your information in order for us to be able to offer our products and services to you.

Sale of Our Business. If we sell, merge, or transfer any part of our business, we may be required to share your information. If so, you will be asked if you’d like to stop receiving promotional information following any change of control.

With your Consent. Other than as set out above, we will provide you with notice and the opportunity to choose when your Personal Information may be shared with other third parties.

6. LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The Services may include links to other websites whose privacy policies and practices may differ from those of TEKConnectGov. If you submit personal information to any of those sites, your information is governed by their privacy statements. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and encourage users to read their privacy statements. Once you leave our Services or are redirected to a third-party website or application, you are no longer governed by this Privacy Policy.

7. MANAGING PRIVACY ISSUES

You can view and edit information that identifies you online through your account. You have a choice about the use of information that identifies you, marketing communications you receive from us, and our use of cookies and other tracking technologies.

Managing Marketing Communications From Us. We will honor your choices when it comes to receiving marketing communications from us.

You have the following choices if you have been receiving marketing communications from us that you no longer wish to receive:

  • Click the “unsubscribe” link in the email or newsletter you received.
  • Subject to your control, our mobile applications may send push notifications to your mobile device. If you are receiving push notifications and no longer wish to receive these types of communications, you may turn them off at the device level.
  • Remember that even if you choose not to receive marketing communications from us, we will continue to send you mandatory service or transactional communications.

Updating Your Personal Information. In connection with your right to manage your Personal Information you provide to us, you may access, update, change, correct or request deletion of your information either through the Service or through our customer support. Cookies and Tracking Technologies. In accordance with applicable law, we and our service providers may use commonly-used tools to recognize your visit and track your interactions with our Services such as cookies, web beacons, pixels, local shared objects, and similar technologies (collectively, “Cookies”). We may, at times, combine Usage Data collected from Cookies with that of other customers to improve your and other customers’ experience. You have control over some of the Usage Data we collect from Cookies and how we use it. Information on changing your browser settings to opt out of Cookies can be found in your browser settings. 8. DATA RETENTION AND ACCESS RIGHTS

Data Retention. In accordance with and as permitted by applicable law and regulations, we will retain your information as long as necessary to serve you, to maintain your account for as long as your account is active, or as otherwise needed to operate our business. When you close your account, we may continue to communicate with you about our Services, give you important business updates that may affect you, and let you know about products and services that may interest you, unless you have opted out of receiving marketing communications. We may also continue to use some of your information for business purposes and to improve our offerings or in some cases to develop new ones. We will retain and use your information as required by applicable regulations and our records and information management policies to comply with our legal and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and for the detection and prevention of fraud.

Access Rights. If you have created an online account with us and would like to update the Personal Information you have provided to us, you can access your account to view and make changes or corrections to your Personal Information.

We provide reasonable and appropriate security measures in connection with securing Personal Information we collect. For example, we:

  • Constantly work to update our security practices to implement accepted best methods to protect your Personal Information, and review our security procedures carefully;
  • Comply with applicable laws and security standards; and
  • Securely transmit your sensitive Personal Information.

10. USE OF THE SERVICES BY MINORS PROHIBITED

The Services are not intended for use by children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age. If you are under 18 years of age, you should not use the Services and under no circumstances should you submit information about yourself. If we discover that a child under the age of 18 has provided personally identifiable information, we will immediately and completely delete that child’s personally identifiable information from our servers. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence and you have given us your consent to allow any of your dependents to use the Services.

11. INTERNATIONAL USERS

If you are using our Services from a location outside the United States, your connection will be through and to servers located in the United States and all information you provide will be processed and securely maintained in our servers and internal systems located within the United States.

In addition, if you are located outside the United States, you should note that your information will be transferred to the United States, the laws of which may be deemed by other countries to have inadequate data protection. Users of the Services located in countries outside of the United States of America who submit personal information do thereby consent to the general use of such information as provided in this Privacy Policy and to the transfer of that information to and/or storage of the information in the United States of America. This policy and our legal obligations are subject to the laws of the State of Arkansas and the United States of America, regardless of the location of any user. Any claims or complaints must be filed in the United States of America in the State of Arkansas.

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any material changes are made to this Privacy Policy, we will revise the “last modified” date noted above to reflect the date such changes take effect. By continuing to use the Services after we post any such changes, you accept the Privacy Policy as modified. We advise you to review the Privacy Policy periodically so that you are up to date on the most current policies and practices in effect with respect to the Services.

13. YOUR CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS

California Civil Code Section � 1798.83 permits users of the Services that are California residents to request and obtain from us a list of what identifiable information (if any) we disclosed to third parties for direct marketing purposes in the preceding calendar year and the names and addresses of those third parties. Requests may be made only once a year and are free of charge. We currently do not share any identifiable information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
